Pacific C2 is designed for accomplished students who want to cultivate their English language skills through cultural exploration.
Planned sessions for this term include:
- “The Complex World of British Food”: A look at the history of the culinary fusions that have taken place within British cuisine over the past 100 years as well as focus on some selected recipes.
- “Visions of the Future”: How novelists and storytellers have envisioned the future and a discussion of how these works have influenced our present.
- “A Load of Ol’ Bristle”: A journey through the confusing world of UK dialects.
The issues that come up in the sessions will often form the basis for future material and ideas from students are actively encouraged.
